Rosebank resident Michael Parilla is accused of slashing his roommate with a knife Tuesday in a rent dispute, said a law enforcement source. Parilla, 50, of the 100 block of Hylan Boulevard, and the man were arguing over the latter's alleged non-payment of his share of the rent, the source said. Parilla went into his apartment, retrieved a knife and returned outside, said police. Parilla swung at the victim, cutting both sides of his face, cops said.
